Roaming Mantis malware hijacks Wi-Fi routers' DNS settings, stealing personal and financial data

The Roaming Mantis mobile malware is spreading and targeting Wi-Fi routers' DNS settings, according to cybersecurity researchers. The malware disguises itself as a legitimate app and once installed, it changes the DNS settings on the infected device's Wi-Fi router, redirecting users to malicious websites. The malware is capable of stealing personal information and financial data, and it also shows malicious ads. It is advised to keep device's software and app up-to-date and also to be cautious of downloading apps from untrusted sources.
